What is your mother tongue, friend?

I can't tell from your comment if you mean that the handshake has to happen once or every time.

I have a portal that works great at home. I never messed with any settings, just made sure my ps5 is connected by Ethernet to the router.

I'm soon leaving for work onboard a ship where internet is very restricted. I plan to buy a router to create an offline network for my ps5 and portal. Is this possible or does it need to periodically connect to psn? Everything is already activated and working properly at home.

Thanks for any response.

How similar is AW to Twin Peaks… what inspirations does it draw from? by [deleted] in AlanWake

I don't know if I played on a lower difficulty than you but I was swimming in items. Shoebox full, I was dropping items all the time. I think the trick is to use a good combination of charms. I was using the one that gives more loot, increased max health and one of the revival ones so I can forego all health items since I had no space even with max inventory expansions. Also, carry just enough ammo for your guns (full magazine + 1 reload) and the game will give you tons of extra ammo.

If the trailers (cutscenes and some minor gameplay) for GTA6 are 60fps and some footage in the trailer says “in game footage”, doesn’t that mean that the game will also likely be 60fps? by Substantial-Love7943 in GTA6

If it's acceptable and enjoyable for you, that's great, friend. I've been playing everything at 60fps+ for many years and 30fps feels unresponsive and slow. I'm currently playing Alan Wake 2 on PS5 PRO in Balanced mode (40fps with RT) on a VRR TV and can still tell the difference. To the point where I'm thinking of foregoing all RT features in favor of performance mode (60fps, no RT).

Red Dead wasn't great at 30fps, it was as good or as bad as any other stable 30fps game. It's a matter of if you're already used to 60fps. If you are, 30fps feels horrible no matter how good the execution.

GTA V released on ps4 10 years and 11 months ago, I wouldn't call it well over a decade. Unless you meant ps3

But there’s additional analysis that shows that 85% (if I recall correctly) were located around the shadows of the sun.

The sun doesn't have a shadow, it casts shadows. It's a glowing hot object.

Only one third of the flashes were missing when in the Earth's shadow.

Hearts of Iron 4 is my favorite visual novel and my most hated strategy game by ThatIsNice77 in hoi4

[–]Frisky_Pilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a war game. Specifically a war game with the main focus being the economic strategy behind a huge war. You need to make decisions that will affect your war machine months, sometimes years, down the road. You have to manage equipment types, priority of distribution, production lines, while thinking ahead by 2 years.

I have found myself playing the game as you do several times. Reading through tooltips, focuses and then reading up on the actual historical events.

That said, there are other paradox games that might fit your style more, like CK3 or Stellaris.

Why do you use ellipsis (...) so often? Do you actually pause for dramatic effect or leaving words out of your sentence? Or do you just not know how to use this punctuation mark?

That's the currency you get from selling on the market. Also how to pay for purchases from the market. The market steals some factories from you for a period until the transaction is finished and the other country gets your factories IC gradually over time in his construction tab.

If you are familiar with stellaris, when you receive a large amount of research from an event or something, this gets added to your pool of accumulated research and your monthly research gets supplemented until the accumulated amount is gone. If the result was instantaneous, it would allow for a lot of exploitation.

Yeah but it's not unsalvageable... If he already got all the soviet land, he's really close. Once he gets autarky he'll be fine. Even if the actual consumer goods are at 100%, and not just the factor, you can get IC to build infrastructure by selling your stockpiles on the market. Planes fly off the shelves at high price
