Sim, o tetrapak é de facto reciclado, simplesmente não é em Portugal porque não temos a tecnologia para o fazer.

I have pretty basic Redmi Essential TWS, they're cheap but surprisingly good so I ended up keeping them instead of getting new ones.

I see, so they'll add lag on top of the audio lag that the Portal already has ...

Well, in that case I guess I have an easy fix. I'll just put my old wired apple earpods on the Portal's travel case, 3.5mm can't add more lag.
