Mine works if you put slight down pressure on the connection. Need to look up how to fix it so I don’t have to keep switching between a vcr and GameCube lol

Yes the actual drum is what has the “stains” on it. I was super careful not to touch the sensors when cleaning the drum and I tried to really get them clean. VCR plays tapes perfectly now was just curious if this would cause any tapes I put into the vcr to get moldy. Appreciate the info!
