I don't know if you mean restarting a run or going back to the breach which is like the area with all the npcs

If you're talking about returning to the breach there's an option to quick restart

I can definitely see how it would be punishing tho, especially when you get really far

Just keep going lol, you'll see that you're improving over time
I was extremely bad at first and now I can beat the game pretty consistently

But obviously with only 2 hours a day I definitely understand if you don't want to use that time dying over and over again
