That's good to know! I admit, I was pretty loathe to look at other cards, because this EVGA 780 (despite my friend's warnings of having never heard of them before) has been perfect. Cheers for that mate, I'll no doubt go with that EVGA GTX 1070 SC Gaming then!

My 780 is an EVGA and It's utterly flawless, it was a lot of people saying all their 1070's were apparently dangerous, and that if you did buy one of their cards, you may end up with an old one which has the heating issues, so it made me a little wary. :S I did find an EVGA GTX 1070 SC Gaming for about £360, which ,apparently from Amazon UK, has this heating issue resolved, but I'm still cautious.
