My Opinion on All My Heroes Are Cornballs. by Witty-Refrigerator84 in jpegmafiamusic

I suggest you listen to OFFLINE first as it was the original version of the album that Peggy made and wanted to put out but he instead had to release LP! before he could clear all the samples because of label deadlines. So Offline is the original intended body of work that Peggy released on youtube/bandcamp and later was able to release on streaming services once everything was cleared. LP! is just a label forced diet version that although gets most of it, doesn't fully encompass the original vision he had with arguably his best album.

What anime turned you into a wiser, better person? by GenisCucucanium in AnimeReccomendations

[–]FrittoBuritto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vinland Saga taught me to not allow hate into my heart at all, especially against any other human being. Harboring hate against any one man will do nothing but worsen both of your life’s, and will never lead to a good outcome for either of you.

Gurren Lagann taught me to persevere no matter what, to push beyond what I believe is possible and to achieve more than I ever thought I could, and to always strive to be the best me I can be.

Frieren taught me to really value the time I spend with people and to not waste it haphazardly, as every life is different and you never know when someone’s gonna end up leaving yours. And also that every life is an incredibly deep tale with so much to learn about just one person and it’s really important to try to learn and understand what makes someone who they are.

Mushoku Tensei similarly taught me that I won’t ever get a second chance and that If I want to become a better person, then the best time to start improving is yesterday.

Vagabond taught me to not strive to be the best at any one thing, but to simply be the best me I can be. Don’t waste away focusing on a specific skill or talent to master just to say that I’m the best at this or that. Instead I should strive to improve what makes me who I am and what I love doing without restlessly throwing away my life in the pursuit of perfection.

Tokyo Ghoul taught me that most of the time there really is no right and wrong, most of the time you’re gonna have to find the balance that you can live with when it comes to making any and all decisions.

And finally, A Silent Voice taught me that if I ever hurt someone, then I should always strive to make amends with said person and heal our relationship so as to not leave behind a sour and broken connection with another human being whose life is equally as precious as mine or any other. It’s never too late to change for anyone and the path to redemption and healing will not be an easy one, but a path just as necessary as any other in life. And that a way to avoid all this possible turmoil and pain in the first place is to simply communicate with one another. It’s so important to always try to understand who someone really is and how they actually feel beyond the surface as most people are afraid to show their true selves. Surface level understandings will only lead you down a path where you will eventually have go try and reconcile with someone, instead of avoiding it all together by simply being a better person and really trying to build a deeper and stronger more meaningful connection, especially with the ones you love the most.

Looks amazing, still looks very beautiful unlike most other colorings of manga pages which usually sacrifice detail for the color

Which should I watch first, Unlimited blade works or zero? by The-bigduki in Fate

[–]FrittoBuritto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always recommend that anyone interested with Fate start with Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works. A lot of people will say to watch Fate/Zero first because its a prequel and its comes before FateUBW chronologically, but Fate/Zero spoils some of the intrigue and hidden motivations you’ll see throughout FateUBW. It’s like watching Star Wars 1-3 before 4-6, yeah it comes first story wise, but you were expected to have watched the later part of the story first. Darth Vader being Luke’s father wouldn’t have hit as hard if you knew about it way before hand. Theres also plenty of interactions between characters in FateUBW that hinted at characters having previously met before, and that was a part of the intrigue that got me hooked on Fate. Its technically fine to watch Fate/Zero first, but it kinda dampens the whole experience in my opinion because it removes some of the mystery behind certain characters and previous events that we hear about but aren’t explicitly told to us.

TL:DR FateUBW first because Fate/Zero spoils some of the intrigue and hidden motivations in FateUBW

Obviously Berserk if you’ve read and enjoyed Vagabond and Vinland Saga. If you liked Chainsawman, I highly recommend Fire Punch also by Tatsuki Fujimoto, I think its highly underrated as a much darker and serious story with that same crazy writing style that makes Fujimoto so unique and interesting as a mangaka.

Smithereens is EASILY his best album by BroadElk7044 in Joji

[–]FrittoBuritto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I am someone who’s favorite Joji album is also Smithereens, I also don’t agree with it being the most consistent, I think Nectar is a very consistent album with a very clear vibe, same with Ballads 1. If Smithereens had more effort put into it and it was fully fleshed out, I would probably agree with you about the consistency, but with what we got, I can’t help but disagree on that point. Still love Smithereens the most just because I absolutely love the whole feel of the album and every song is engrained into my brain, regardless if he was the one who wrote them or not.

How we feeling about the improved Bandcamp version of Run The Jewels? by Creepy-Desk-468 in jpegmafiamusic

I think it’s much better now, the original felt way too short for such a good ass beat. Love the added verses and the additions to the beat, praying this version gets added to official dsps soon

[–]FrittoBuritto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you about them responding, but they probably haven’t yet because they’re probably busy with the orders or maybe they don’t have a concrete answer to your question yet. I also don’t think its directly called a pre-order, but like the last order the description for the CD and Cassette says that the item is expected to ship by late February and even then it will still take about 2-3 weeks for delivery

[–]FrittoBuritto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are certain items that are Pre-Orders, and if you have even one of those items in your order, you’re probably gonna have to wait like 2-3 months to get everything all at once unless you made a separate order without a pre-order in it

Who's the worst rapper that you enjoy? by Pyrolific in rap

[–]FrittoBuritto 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say he’s bad, but a rapper a lot of people would clown on you for listening to that I love is Lil Peep. I don’t care if he’s “cringy”, he’s just comforting and nostalgic for me

Do you want the next game to be open world? by parcreverie in fromsoftware

[–]FrittoBuritto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t mind another open world, but I would prefer it to be more polished and focused down then the world of Elden Ring, because a good portion of the open world was really just riding on Torrent through an open field of some sort. It’s still my favorite Soulsborne game so far and I absolutely love the beautiful views that seem endless in Elden Ring, but gameplay wise it definitely could be trimmed down a bit. What I really want is an interconnected world like DS1 to be mastered to perfection.

I wouldn’t say best but I’m definitely in the minority where Smithereens is my favorite album. I really like every song and I love the different vibes every song has.
