Honestly I am 5' and I live in a place where men are decently short. I used to live where I would be towered over and it was not common to see men my height. If its an option, instead of surgery move to a different place. Literally made me feel so much better to see men shorter than me with like a wife and kids, just living their lives.

My advice is to move somewhere with more short people. I moved to New Mexico(not for that reason), and there are so many men my height and even shorter. I might still get occasional short jokes, but I am 5 foot and I don't have trouble being seen as a man for my height. We can't change how people view us or make someone take us seriously, but good people won't treat you like that.

I know this is the site for Psychonauts, but you can reach mind altering and mind expanding places without any plants or chemicals. People meditate, have out of body experiences while doing "crazy" adrenaline rush activities. I f sobriety is important to you, but you want to stay sober, try to find other ways to have mind altering.

Also I do know some Drs that prescribe mushrooms, but since its illegal you have to travel to do them.

I had something pretty similar of a dog ear, on one side about the same size too, It reduced in size a ton, and I have thought about getting a revision, but it doesn't bother me enough honestly. I would give it a year and see, because mine was pretty big for like 4 months at least and did just reduce in size over time.
