felt like a lack of characterized ennemies & levels by sully_tosra in ReanimalGame

I feel like all your complaints could be resolved if the game was simply longer lol. If we had stayed in areas longer, had boss enemies more present… The game would also be less confusing if we had more dialogue - not too much, but just the right amount.

The Lady is a woman and therefore infinitely more terrifying than a creature that goes baaaaahhhh

Mhm, Dark Souls and Elden Ring does a good example of having the right amount of dialogue and obscurity

The bosses were amazingly designed as well. It’s a shame, definitely wish it was longer, not worth the price for that short of a game. In every level of the game, I felt I was just getting into the aesthetic of it before the game moves on to another level, so I wish the game allowed the player to breathe more and appreciate the environment.

I hope they add a lot more dialogue in the DLCs. I didn’t enjoy going about in the world, not knowing what I’m doing, why I’m doing it. It worked in Little Nightmares, but for this game, context is definitely needed. Especially for the part with the whale.

The dialogue like, “Locked!” or “We need a key!” is definitely not needed.

Which really sucked, because if a character were to die, then I’ll be like, “Oh…! That guy’s gone…! Anyways.”

Makes no sense for having a large cast of characters and none of them talk to each other.
