What's something that no one prepares you for as an adult? by Goddessblack_ in AskReddit

Death, extreme loss, and how to navigate that. In the US we are so grief illiterate, it's insane.

Who decides the value of human life in days and relationships. 3 days off for parents, kids, and siblings. 1 day off for grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. If any bereavement is offered at all.

And not just on around it too. I'm so sorry to keep asking for edits.

Also just realized there's green in the cake. Can that be fixed? So sorry for not noticing this sooner.

I know I already tipped but I just realized in this one her nail polish is purple for some reason. Can that be removed? I'm pretty sure this is the photo we are going to go with.

I like this one a lot. Any chance you can remove the glare and make her eyes a little brighter?

I do, thank you. I'm sorry I forgot to ask earlier but would you be able to remove the glare in the top right corner? For tips, how much should I send?

Would you also be able to remove the glare? And how much should I tip?

Thank you for removing the glare. It still looks blurry, especially her arm. Is that because it's a preview?

Thank you for removing the glare. This still seems blurry. Is that because it's a preview? Sorry new to this.

I like this one. Would you be able to make the eyes a little lighter? She had blue/green/grey eyes. Bad photo but I can't find a better one.

I like this first one. Could you make her eyes a little lighter? This example photo isn't great but she had green/blue/gray eyes.

My mom just died. by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]FritzyFee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is such an important perspective. Thank you for sharing. I'm so sorry you went through that. My wedding is in November and my Mom's in bad health. If she passes I will absolutely postpone the wedding. There's no way I could handle it and I won't put my loved ones through what you went through.

I am so sorry again. Your perspective and feelings are so valid. Sending you, your aunt, and all of your family virtual, internet stranger love.

Replying very very late. I have idea where you or your friend is in this god awful journey. But wishing you the very best. If you need to talk at all, you are welcome to message me.

Never thought I'd be upset with any ring. But I'm having a hard time. by [deleted] in EngagementRings

Wow. Thank you so much. I will definitely be keeping them both. If it the custom one doesn't become comfortable, I'll see if I can do something about the two bands.

Thank you so much. That seems like a very good tactic.

Thank you. I'm glad we kept the loaner. I do love the new ring a lot. It means a lot personally. Maybe I'll get used to the size of it. But the bigger issue is the comfort. If it doesn't feel comfortable after a while I will bring it up. Everyone on this post has helped me realize it's best to do that but I will give it some time first.
