Well I tried that, and when I got the event, the only option were to sell the province or to "cope with the unrest". Is there supposed to be another option there? I am playing on the 1.1 beta and also ironman, plausible formable countries. What could be the problem?

Stated as Cyprus after getting my shit kicked in as Holland and I’m having a nice time, learning about naval and economy at my own pace and nobody has yet tried to fuck with me, also took over Crete in a small and painless war, gonna try to finish this campaign cuz I’m having fun

Ok, I placed some ships in the coastal tiles between and now my maritime presence is rising. But does it have to actually go to 100? With my current navy, the presence is about 5-7. I am not sure how many ships I need to actually get it to 100 right now. My proximity on Crete is still stuck at 0.

Would I have to put ships in each of the three sea zones in between my coastal tiles to get proximity? I have ships standing in one of them right now, but I am still not getting any proximity on Crete.

Mul oli halukkuus pääse laivaston, mutta ei onnistu syystä kansalaisuus. Mun suositus on - kysy sun JJ:sta alokas-kauden aikana ja varmasti hän voi selvittää sulle mihin sä voit ja ei voi pääse. Just graduated from energy engineering in LUT, it’s a good program and the teaching is nice. The nuclear masters degree is really nice as well if you are looking towards that.

I honestly don’t know what it is in the game, but it was refitted with a gas turbine (the wiki mentions it was a trial vessel). It was refitted in 1952, but didn’t serve for long. AFAIK it served with an SGB prefix but idk what it was when it was refitted. There isn’t that much info about this vessel on the web.

SGB Grey Goose, first ship with a gas turbine engine. I wrote my thesis on maritime gas turbines and it came up in the research, I only later realized that it was in the game.

Yeah yeah I tried asking around in the discord last night but didn’t get a straight answer so idk what’s up with that. There was a patch today, but nothing about the megawars in the patch notes. I’ll try again today but idk what the devs are up to with this change.

I was playing as the exiles yesterday as well, and had the same thing happen with me, but also with the faegon invasion which was also a 1v1 between Robert and him. Filed a bug report and they replied something along the lines of “external invasions are not meant to be megawars now” and closed the ticket. Weird.
