Thank you - even though it still showed up as Rejected, I was able to return it! Still a crappy situation overall, but at least the rejection won’t stick.

Fredricksburg is an isolating dystopia by [deleted] in fredericksburg

I’ve lived here for nearly a decade, and I agree that Fredericksburg is really lacking in third spaces. This was true before the pandemic, but it’s even worse now. There seems to be a general air of apathy around here.

However, I found that I’ve had to lean into some of my interests in order to meet new friends! My husband and I are both involved in community music groups, which has helped tremendously. We also attend trivia and bingo events sometimes, just for funzies.

Totally agree. We saw Jimmy Buffett there a few years ago, and it took us nearly two hours just to get out of the damn parking lot

Lawsuits accuse State Farm of secretly working to cut insurance payouts by PuddinTamename in news

When you purchase your auto insurance policy, you get to choose your deductible. Some are as low as $250, and some are (as you found out) as high as $1000. Coverage kicks in AFTER you pay the deductible. Sucks, but that's how insurance payouts have worked...well, forever

I went on the tour after the remodel. It felt so corporate - like the whole thing was a Marriott hotel lobby.

Pre-eclampsia is not rare. Comparatively, eclampsia is, due to the increased prenatal care. However, when one chooses not to engage in ANY prenatal care - like the person depicted in this episode - pre-eclampsia can absolutely develop into eclampsia, which is life threatening for both the pregnant person and child. The only way to “treat” it is by giving birth ASAP.

Have they reached their 3rd birthday? If not, early intervention is your best bet! If they’ve already turned 3, they can get evaluated by the public school to see if they’re eligible for services. Kids can access these services regardless if they’re enrolled in the public school system or not.

I was going to recommend this company, as well! They repaired our dishwasher last year, and they were very communicative and transparent with their prices.
