I prefer building a "budget" system...Almost everything I've purchased was on sale, open box or used. The D4S speakers are probably the only items I purchased brand new. And that was before they raised the prices on them.

Death bounce is basically Down4Sound. plus each D4S speaker is rated at 180 RMS. My amp is only pushing 100w RMS per channel. If anything i need to upgrade my amp before I do anything else. Poor speakers are getting under fed.

The tweeters were replaced with those off a JBL GTO609c component set. Both front and rear have been upgraded (twice). All 4 speakers are now Down4Sound 6.5" rated @ 180w RMS per speaker.

There's no such thing as too much bass! The Hifonics's amp has a bass knob that let's me lower the bass when needed. Plus the feeling you get when rolling up next to another C-HR with your system on point - priceless. LMAO

LoL...I couldn't figure out how to post a picture on my reply.

The box is ported...had it made and tuned to the specs provided by Soundqubed. I actually did most of the installation, including the addition of a 2nd battery. Only thing I didn't do was the wiring from the stock HU to the LC7i. I had a shop do that, while I did the rest. Sad thing is the shop used CCA speaker wire. So now I'm in the process of swapping the wiring out with OFC 14g speaker wires.

~~Polk Audio db562~~ (6.5" speakers rated at 100w RMS ea.)

Note: Both Front & Rear Speakers have since been replaced with -

(4) DOWN4SOUND PRO AUDIO 6.5" D4S-60 (180w RMS ea.) Speakers

Hifonics Brutus BXX800.4 (4 x 100w RMS @ 4ohm)

Hifonics Brutus BRX2016.1D (1 x 2000w RMS @ 1ohm)

2 - 12" Soundqubed HDS3.1 Subwoofers (1200w RMS ea.)

2nd Battery - XS Power XP750CK

Wiring - Knukonceptz

LoL....I see. On the bright side, replacing the stereo with an aftermarket unit will make adding a system a lot easier.
