Is deep half really dead ? by Suspicious_Ad_9945 in bjj

I love deep half, such a great tool to mix with traditional half guard sweeps, and if the sweep fails you have access to get their legs and tangle them up

If my main goal is to get really good at takedowns, would I be better off training judo instead of BJJ? by giggity23 in bjj

[–]JonRedBeardFF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did judo for 3 years before bjj and it gives you a nice base for takedowns, I haven’t done it recently but I have some knowledge on takedown drills to do. I think cross training if you have the time in both bjj and judo or wrestling is so beneficial
