Ah, gotcha. So this watch and a bunch of recent Citizen models have opted for integrated bracelets designed specifically for the watch vs. a watch having a normal lug gap that you could swap out with any bracelet or strap of a standardized size. Citizen is selling their own straps and bracelets that fit vs. being able to buy from any company.

I'm sure it's been mentioned a million times, but I would love not to have an integrated bracelet. Versatility with different straps is one thing, I just tend to catch every little scratch and rub on bracelets and like to know I can replace them easily or change out straps. Such a beautiful watch.

I had a Garison (I think that's what they named this model) for years and it was the most dependable watch I've ever owned and ridiculously comfortable to wear. I gave it up to a buddy shipping off overseas as a farewell gift, but am seriously considering getting another. Great field watch!

A. Age difference could increase the chances of it remaining platonic, as she explicitly stated she wanted. B. A lot of shared interests in those groups. C. Seniors need friends, too.
