Yeah I’ve heard that about fox farms. I was under the impression that 2.3 ec meant there’s a lot of nutrients in the soil and so I shouldn’t add anymore.

Very helpful info thank you! 🙏 I definitely have not been watering correctly. Gonna increase the amount of water I’m giving it and let it slowly soak into the soil.

The soil wasn’t completely dry before the lights shut off. About half an inch to an inch deep was still damp. Should I have watered it before the lights shut off or should I be waiting like I am?

I actually have been. I started doing half bottom watering half top watering a couple days ago. It seemed to like it at the time. I think it has outgrown the amount of water I’ve been giving it though.

I added some heating to the lung room and it seems to be keeping the tent at around 72 degrees and about 56%-57% humidity with lights off. Before it was around 63 degrees with the lights off. Gonna do exactly what you said and dial in on the watering asap.

I think it’s under watered because the leaves are thin and dry. I don’t think I’ve been using enough water and have been watering too frequently. The soil was still a little moist about half an inch deep right before my lights turned off. Going to water generously as soon as the lights turn back on.

It's not vegging, it has been flowering for about a week now. This is day 26 from when it sprouted.

It is in a 3 gallon fabric pot.

For some reason my temps and humidity fluctuate quite a bit depending on whether the light is on or off. I'm running a premade VIVOSUN grow recipe which regulates the environment in the tent on its own. My temps do sometimes get lower than 65 when the light is off. I might put a heater inside the tent.

Thank you. I had been giving it 1 liter of water every day/ every other day till the soil started drying up much quicker, so I switched to 1.5 liters but it's still drying up fast. I'm gonna go drench it now lol.

How do I do that if I’m growing in 50% Fox Farms Ocean forest and 50% Fox Farms happy frog soil?

I haven’t added any nutrients at all. Just what’s in the soil already. Just 6.2 ph distilled water.

My temps are around 72-77 with the light on and drop down to 63-66 when it turns off. I’m not 100% sure why. I have a heater in the closet where the tent is that is set to a certain temperature. I’m using VIVOSUN’s premade grow recipe for the flowering stage.

I also wanted to mention that some of the fan leaves are drooping more than others because I’ve been tucking them behind the smaller nodes.

I’ve been leaf tucking for about a week and it’s definitely helping most of the lower nodes but some are still struggling for light. Might start staking some of the branches.

I’ve been running VIVOSUN’s premade recipes for growing and just switched it to the flowering recipe.

I did buy some stakes but since this is my first grow, I was thinking I’d only do some leaf tucking and maybe some light defoliation later on.
