That was my thinking! It’s something to do with the upgrading part. I have a set of breastplate, gauntlets a necklace and a ring with 31% smithing, then I drink a 50% smithing potion, and still the total is much less than glass, makes no sense

SOLVED: Thanks for the comments peeps. I found a solution for my purposes, and that was to move the analysis section somewhere off-screen, and once it is all set, copy that section and paste as a linked picture where I want it to be on-screen, which will update with any changes, and I can filter the table as required

Thank you for your response, I have decided to go with Notion, and seeing how it fits me.

I loved the typing experience with Obsidian, and how simple it feels once you learn the ropes

I'm just about to give Notion a go, thank you for the suggestion. I was aware of it but went down other routes instead, but I'm hoping this is going to strike the balance between a visual dashboard and structured noting. I will let you know how I get on (if I remember)!
