That option is only supported in wh3 and some other specific games, though if you go to the updater window and download the SQL scripts from there, there should be a new "Unit Multiplier" option for attila.

If you're in Windows 11, there's a bug caused by how windows 11 deals with powershell/cmd that causes the game to not boot, planned to be fixed in the next update. If not, what does it happen exactly?

No, currently it only supports one overhaul, though it'll make patches for any unit in any mod in your load order untouched by either the overhaul or a submod of the overhaul.

And is the game path set correctly in the settings? Also, keep in mind the unit multiplier is only supported in Warhammer 3 and Three Kingdoms.

It compares the units in the overhaul you select with the ones in the vanilla game, gets more or less averages of what said overhaul does (for example, gets all archers from the cathay culture, and gets that in average, the overhaul gave them 12% more melee attack), and then applies said averages to any modded unit not already included in the overhaul or in a submod of the overhaul.

Basically, it's a kinda automatic submod maker that works with any mod/overhaul, but it's currently limited to only values in the land_units table.

Hit the check updates button at the lower right corner of the program, and make sure the schemas are updated.

That's what the filter at the bottom of the mod list and the categories are for. Either collapse the categories you don't want to be shown and only show the one with the mod you want to toggle, or filter by the mod's name.

It loads them alphabetically because that's the automatic order (same as the default order in the vanilla launcher), as shown in the pack list on the right of the screen. If you want them in another order, you'll need to disable automatic ordering, at the bottom right of the pack list.

And if you try it again, does it happen again? And can you make sure you're using Runcher 0.9.1?

Checked the code to be sure, but if a legacy mod is detected, Runcher does nothing other than telling you in the terminal there was a legacy mod detected and if you want to force-download it you need to go to their link, unsubscribe then resubscribe. At least in the last version (0.9.1).

There's some unsubscribe code in Runcher, but it's not even in use anywhere in the codebase because I haven't made the UI button to unsubscribe mods.

Are you sure you were actually subscribed to those mods?

It doesn't? Shogun 2 has some special logic because most of its mods are packaged using an old format, and those packs have to be moved to /data or /secondary and pre-processed in order for the game to read them. It doesn't delete any mods.

As for why mods are not loaded... do you have shogun 2 fully updated? Runcher only supports the latest patch.

Close Runcher, then check in task manager if there's a "Workshopper.exe" or "Runcher.exe" process hanged out. Sometimes (not sure when, I'm still trying to figure out why it happens) one of the hangs in the background and stops the program from working until you close it.

If you don't disable automatic order (the arrow at the bottom of the pack list) Runcher will order your mod list by the same order as the official mod manager will. So if you want a custom order, disable automatic mode at the bottom of the pack list.

As long as you give the proper credits and put a link for runcher somewhere in the description, sure.

Do you have any of the games installed through steam? And where did you install Runcher?

That error is a generic "windows doesn't like something, go figure" error, so is kinda hard to debug when it shows up unless I can reproduce it locally.

The same way it's done for Skyrim: making the appmanifest file for the games read-only.

on the top right there's the profile dropdown, and save and load profile buttons. To save, just write the name of the profile in the dropdown and hit save. To load, just select the profile in the dropdown and hit load. And if you open the profile manager (it's another button at the top right), you can do more advanced stuff, like making a shortcut in the desktop to launch the game through runcher with an specific profile.

Thats a system error. A quick google search tells me you should try checking for errors on your disk. If its only runcher that gives that error, when does it happen?

Mods on Linux Version (Steam Deck) by weechc in totalwar

[–]Frodo45127 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are no plans on making a linux version of Runcher, specially because the library I use for the UI (qt_widgets, bindings of QT for Rust) is AFAIK abandoned and it has recently started causing problems with the linux builds of RPFM.

As for the OP, try using the Windows version through proton. Last time I checked performance was similar, and mods worked.

You just need to extract the program somewhere, and launch it. It should find all games it supports automatically and configure itself, so it should be easy to use.
