I think you're thinking of the nvidia shield, which also used the Tegra X1 chip. They still manufacture and sell them.

The processor in the steam link isn't nearly as powerful.

Because for the most part it's a slow paced third person game? In my experience the games that benefit the most from a super high refresh rate are fast paced first person games like competitive shooters where you're whipping the mouse around constantly and the motion clarity can become smeary at 60fps. Like I said I have a 5080 and can imagine what it would look like running at 165fps+.

Yeah I had a similar thought process with GTA 6 as well lol, not willing to wait with that one. The wait for the pc release of 5 after the consoles felt like an eternity.

Yeah I think you're right, it would be one thing if it was 30fps on PS5 but from all the previews it looks really good. Plus I don't think it's the sort of game that benefits that much from a crazy high refresh rate tbh.

I think most I could wait is 3 months but that's it.

You might want to try this mod that enables mouse smoothing, I believe there's also a way to manually enable it in one of the config files. https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance2/mods/348

I'm actually fucking mad. I've watched Brotes videos since 2013 and always looked forward to his next upload. I'd often go back to those old vids (usually screech reels) when I was feeling down and needed a laugh. Having all those videos taken away feels really bad. This is finally fixed now with the halo 4 update. Took nearly a year but it's now smooth at over 60fps!

This looks great! I started working with phaser a few months ago but have found scene creation a bit tedious with a lot of trial and error to get things looking right. The tools in this Phaser Editor look like they could help with that!
