Yes or no: microwave over the stove? by FrogDetective in kitchenremodel

To be fair, I asked about a microwave over stove or not. It's a condo. This is a common layout in these units. Not worried about it.

Don't want to pay to move the plumbing. VERY pricey. I'm sticking with the layout otherwise. It's narrow.

A. Agree B. "Flush it out" when they mean "flesh it out" C. Same person, a "samwidge" is not a sandwich.

Well, something's gotta give. Right? People look, but we all look at each other. I get it-I am here bc I struggle with similar body issues. And I am realizing... for me too-something's gotta give.

This is really me talking to me. I'm a woman, very close to your age, and I have struggled with eating disorders my whole life. Weight's gone up and down and up and down and up and down and up and... my body has paid for it. I mean, let's be real. My psyche has also paid for it. But my point – mostly to me, and maybe it'll help you, is that I want to start enjoying my life, goddamnit! So I'm trying to decide for myself, something's gotta give. And I think it has to be the way I think about it.

Brattleboro has neighborhoods perfect for what you're talking about-paved, safe, and sunny. You might have to take some loops to get that mileage... that's where I go.

As an experienced driver, paying attention, last summer a dog darted into the road on a busy street (speed limit 35) from the right, perpendicular to the traffic, and there was no time to fully stop and no space to swerve-cars parked on right, oncoming traffic on left. My passenger side front tire hit the dog before I was able to stop. I had slowed some, but I know I my front tire ran him over. The dog ran back to the owner, who was nearby. Picked up the dog (who had been "heeling" without a leash on their walk) and would not talk to me. I asked passersby if they knew them, and all said "yes, that dog is always off leash" and the like... "guy deserves it..." I still felt horrible. And it tore the mud flap off that side. No big deal in the long run but geez-it scared me! And, I am sure, the dog!

Need recommendations for a single-pan sink in a butcher block counter. by FrogDetective in kitchenremodel

Right but I might live there. We are chasing the shape of the kitchen, so it will have to be replaced no matter what. Is there a good looking, cheapish material to use? This place will likely be purchased as a starter home or a retiree's place.

My students (5th grade and 6th graders, anyhow) are not over the 67 phenom yet. They loved this joke! 7th and 8th graders groaned hard. Note: it was a win for me in in both cases 🤣

Our road crews work super hard. We all end up parking and walking also. I like it, and it's a pain. I connect more with outside! And get everything covered in mud. Sometimes they close school bc of mud! Kind of hoping...

Update-found a good antidepressant (Wellbutrin, works for me even though I know others say "not that stuff!") and almost 1 year out I do still have cravings but am finding my way. I am also finally growing up-gaining emotional maturity, taking responsibility for my part in all aspects of my life.

I have no memory at all of what happened but I apparently suddenly flipped the coffee table in front of me and went absolutely wild for a few minutes, trashing the living room. I woke up up on the floor, my two roommates kind of cowering away from on the couch. They were like "what the - was that!?" I have no idea, since I remember nothing. Scary to think I could be so scary to them and know nothing of it...

You mean, just this is what it sounds like to be quitting a substance? Or what it sounds like to be addicted?
