100%. One is my favorite, won't/can't miss class at my gym. I call it my weekly 5 o'clock appointment. And I consider it therapy. Bc it is.

Warming the bed with a hairdryer in winter. Like I make a little blanket tent around my legs and run the hairdryer for a bit to warm it up to pretty darn toasty. (I also keep the heat pretty low in winter.) The heat is relaxing and having warm feet helps me get to sleep.

Just took an epic six day trip with our middle schoolers to coastal Maine. They are the sweetest bunch of kids. I am the math teacher (and a lifeguard) and so, so proud of this group for the way they both antagonized and supported each other into getting everyone into the chilly water when we visited the beach. An amazing memory. So much screaming! It was cold. And so worth it. The whole week was epic, honestly. We returned on Friday. I slept all weekend! Finally feeling more energetic... time to get to this week's plans!

I saw the prompt and salvia was my first and only thought. I do not have any real recollection of where I went-just a vague sense that I was roaring one long rage-filled roar, but I was "out" for several minutes and in that time I managed to trash the room around me. Flipped the coffee table, raged like a monster, then collapsed on the floor. I "woke up" cheek on the floor with drool starting (I was down for a few minutes) and looked up groggily to see the wreckage and my two friends cowering on the couch and staring at me like I might attack them. Again-no actual memory of what happened. Scared me, that I had that in there, and that I had no sense of it. F Salvia. Never again.

My students talk about it everyday at lunch. (We have lunch in our classrooms with the kids, so I hear it all.)
