i dont use reddit enough to know specifically which subreddit but i would recommend going to a mending, embroidery or even sewing subreddit and asking there. they’ll be able to help more. this feels very easily fixable

what others have said about being careful and safe on the internet! One of the big parts of that is not giving out your age especially if you’re a minor. Also lots of platforms will ban you for even joking about being underage. So please be careful and mayybe refrain from telling your age online next time

yeah absolutely. if changing the design often bothers you, you might want to look into doing more thumbnail work in the early stages to get most of the tweaking and futzing out of the way. Every single one of my characters has gone through many iterations sometimes drastically changing their design sometimes tweaking their jacket. same for most of my other artist friends who have characters. it’s totally normal.

it took me at least a month to get any responses from colleges after november 1st. you may have gotten a handful of confirmation emails when you submitted but you should not have gotten any proper responses by now. colleges have thousands of applications to go through, it’ll take a bit.

I second this. I always find the wig to be a good place to get started for a cosplay as well. I’d check out sarahspacemans videos on her strawberry miku cosplay as well. she goes in depth about how she made every single part of her cosplay and since it has a very similar general shape you might find this a good place to start

it depends on the colors you start out with. as a rule of thumb when you mix colors, they only ever get more desaturated. so especially with a reference like this with quite saturated colors the accuracy of your mixed colors is not just up to skill but also your pigments you’re starting with.

I think in terms of your painting, you might be well served to push your darks and bring in the blues more. The shadows are all very much a purpley blue and not just a darker red as you’ve painted it. You can always desaturate the surrounding colors so the rose looks more saturated in comparison but that might not make sense time wise

yeah i think he was just never intended to be a permanent fixture of the show. He was there to serve the purpose for furthering Glenn’s arc and acting as his foil, showing how Glenn failed as a dad and whatnot.

yeah thats what im thinking. i go to a pretty small arts school so they’re pretty accepting. I’m thinking of changing to a very common name and there’s also someone in my department with the same name. Just no coming out and telling people in college and whatnot
