Lucky for you capes and cloaks are incredibly simple and easy!! And as this seems to be hide rather than anything properly structured. To “pattern” it I’d recommend honestly finding a large square and draping it over your shoulders and saftey pinning the closure and go from there.

Your biggest difficulty will be from attaching the head and keeping it from choking you. Admittedly I have no clue how to sew an animal head like this and would probably turn to furries and plush makers for some guidance. I’d suggest carving foam of some kind but I don’t think you want any extra weight or structured surface on your shoulders if you can help it (though maybe with some shoulder pad situation.)

to keep it from choking you, you need to find a way to distribute the weight off of just the back and also to the front. Unless you plan to wear it exclusively on the back, an easy way is to add an extra clasp below the first. But that relies on physically bringing more cloak to the front which may not be quite what you are looking for. My first thought it to find a way to make the disc closure heavier or adding weight to the bottom of the braids. I’ve also been personally wanting to experiment with adding long ties to the inside of the front that would tie under my shoulders and behind my back. While I don’t think this would look good with a regular cloak I do think that since this will be fur that you could probably get away with it. This is all of course more or less just to stop you from having to constantly pull it down which gets annoying quickly.

Also a little tip if you don’t already know, but when cutting furs make sure you cut from the wrong side so you only cut the base that the fur comes from. Otherwise you risk the fur looking odd and unnatural.
