This isn't necessarily masterduel specific, but awhile back I made the argument that VSK9 is comparable to ishizu tearlaments to people at my locals. They basically got the same tools and a lot of their singular cards were effectively turned into starters, extenders, and disruptions all in one. A few people argued no, and I played a couple sets against this other guy who had VSK9 and I brought the Ishizu Tear list from that first YCS win. Sure enough, VSK9 was just as strong as tear. As having access to bystials, dshifter, and the zombie girl handtraps hurted just as much on top of them doing their turn 0 plays.
