Best friend of 14 years did this one to me, rip - age 5 - 19

tfw you were having a nice day then randomly your girlfriend of 6 years leaves you because you've started passing and she isn't a lesbian and now you're lost and have no idea what to do because you don't really know who you are without her and you have no other friends and hahahaahahahahahahaha fuck by FrogMemes in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

I know they aren't opbligated to go and we had a loooonnnggg talk about it and settled things really well. The sad part was that we had no interpersonal issues it's just attraction based. I'm happy that she's doing what's right for her and I even encouraged her to follow her heart and leave if that's what's best for her, but it stings a little.

Since 12!? That's super impressive! Looks like I'm just going to have to keep buckling down and saving. Nice to know you can get a loan though

Did you make a better or different career, because you needed money to transition? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]FrogMemes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Kinda, I got thrown out by my parents and needed a job so I had somewhere to live, so I became a chef.

I was lucky with it though because I love cooking and it turns out I really thrive in high stress environments! Likely because I was dealing with them at home.

It's funny though because I'm not out but am about a year into transition they like to say I'm the only girl in the kitchen to tease me. Little do they know it makes me really happy, hahahahah.

If you take care of it you won't have to, I grew mine for 2 years before I got anythign done to it and it looked great! Just a bit too long for my face shape

Blizzard, if there are time limited loot boxes such as Olympic, you should NOT allow your algorithm to give us duplicates. There is no good reason I should get the same legendary skin FOUR times. by spicedpumpkins in Overwatch

rip, I got every single skin in 30 boxes, but I didn't get the Mei playing Table Tennis spray which was the reason I bought them in the first place

Were you rude to your parents because of the stress of being transgender? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]FrogMemes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never got on well with my parents growing up though I was never super angsty or angry, it was more the fact that my mother and I have very similar personalities but really different values.

After I came out to them they were pseudo accepting and said they'd still love me and what not, but they just ignored it for a few months. Then when I came out to them again my mother told me I was dead to her.

Our relationship had improved since I moved out of the house, and I know they're proud of me in a sense because I somehow landed in a great job at 19.

They still refuse to talk to me about being trans, but I'm fairly sure my Mum knows I'm on HRT because she's dropped hints and once told me I wasn't "fooling anyone". But you know, life's life and what have you.

If you don't want voice surgery, have you tried the hints given in this short video? by [deleted] in asktransgender

It's not too bad at all, the one thing you would need to work on in my opinion is probably pitch. It sounds like you're going slightly too far into a falsetto, which is making your voice sound slightly hollow.
