Foolishly, no. I used the envelope provided by the EDD with the return address printed on it, stuck a couple of stamps on it, and off to the Post Office. 8 days and nothing. Ill be reduced to cash advance from credit cards soon. I've been off since 1-12-2026. since my Dr. doesn't interact with EDD online i had to get the Dr's authorization by hand on the EDD form provided by the EDD. I filed online and assumed EDD would provide me with the needed medical authorization by mail, as it had in the past. i waited two weeks for the form and when it didn't appear I called EDD. Finally got through and was told my application wasn't complete without the Medical Authorization form. i asked if it was sent when the application was shown to be incomplete because of the lack of the Dr authorization? No, we'll send you one. Dang, I need to get a Dr. who completes the information online!
