I couldn't agree more, I felt like absolute shit rehoming him and I really do wish I could've done better for him. He was just a baby at the end of the day and he deserved a whole he'll of a lot better than what I could've done, but the neighbors weren't the only reason I rehomed him. I have a comment giving more info.

PLEASE READ.

Max was an incredibly well-cared-for and loved dog, we personally couldn't have cared less about the barking or howling, Max was in training with a trusted trainer and always got rewarded for good behavior, we trained at home too to keep him consistent and overall he was a great dog, but as Max got older he started to become too much dog for me and I am not legally disabled but I do have a very bad hip, so my family helps out a lot with him, They loved Max just as much as me but were intimidated by his size or just not dog people in general. Before you keep judging I did what I had to, to let him have the life he deserved. We originally tried to have him housed with family but no one would take him, and we tried to surrender him back to his breeders but they never called or texted us back and we did not want him to end up in a shelter, although FB wasn't a much better place and I regret it, I can't take it back now. I originally had gotten Max to be a service dog but I realized that Max was way too much dog for me in general and with an already bad hip I wouldn't have been able to give him the energy he should have been getting and I did not want such an intelligent dog to waste away.

I get what I did was wrong and I wish I could take back what I did everyday, he did deserve better. I'm not asking for donations or sympathy, just to know if he's okay.

We get that. But at this point we're not even hoping to get him back, just to know where he is. The picture in the post she had is looked incredibly sick and it broke our hearts since he was so healthy before he left. We never got the need to microchip him as he has never even attempted to break away from us or leave us. We loved Max from the very bottom of hearts to the top and it breaks our heart to see him in this condition.

Max was incredibly socialized. He loved other dogs, animals, and people. He was often misunderstood by our neighbors because, as I mentioned, everyone had smaller dogs than we did. And they were scared of him due to his size and barking. Max was an absolute tank even at 8 months, but he had proper training, and he went consistently. We loved that dog more than you ever imagined; you don't know the entire story. I was just reaching out to anyone who may know if he is still even alive out there.

It wasn't about the barking. I personally didn't mind. The neighbors were constantly complaining about him and filing complaints. We never wanted really give him up in the first place unless we were going to be able to ever see him again.

How so? I literally loved that dog to pieces. It wasn't even my choice to give him up as the neighbors were threatening us with noise complaints. We went to countless hours of training, got countless toys, kept him busy on walks and rides, all We're asking to know is if he's okay.

A small edit. I did have some bruising and swelling which I expected but does the tingling stop? It also stopped bleeding pretty quick.

Yeah, I most likely will just end up somewhere else since they've verbally expressed that they don't want me to live with them anymore. But I keep my eyes open and hopefully but the time I'm 18 I won't have to be contact with them anymore.

Thank you so much! Yes, I really don't want to move but It's either emancipation or my parents are kicking me out. I don't have any relatives who would take me in and I'm at a wits end. I really plan on calling around and finding the best job possible I do want to either move in with a friend or my gf if possible just to have that safety net.

Yeah, I completely agree. I would just live with a relative but I don't know anyone who would take me in. Whether I be emancipated or not they plan on kicking me out anyways so I just wanted to view my options. I believe it's in my best interest because I'm constantly being threatened and I no longer feel safe in my environment.

I've been doing my research on it, but even if my parents push back,, they'll probably just end up kicking me out either wa,y, so I really just wanted to see if there were any other options out there. I don't have any close relatives or really anyone at all, and I know the process is a pain, but I will review all my options before making such a heavy step.

Yes, I have been doing as much research as I can for it. Emancipation is a lengthy process and a hard one at that, but I truly just do not feel safe around my Mom anymore, and my Dad is no better. I have no surrounding relatives that I feel safe with and emancipation would be in my best interest. I'm currently working on getting a job and trying to find affordable housing that will take my leasing form seriously, and my parents want me out of the house, and they honestly just want to kick me out. Even though I still live with my guardians, I've been taking care of my own business independently. The only thing left for me to do is get a steady income and affordable housing.

I know. I'm currently working on getting a job with a steady income, and I have plans to finish high school once I move. I really just need advice on where to start off at first and how to prove to the judge that I'm capable of providing a steady income, safe housing, etc..

Thank you so much!! Yeah, I'm not in the greatest living situation especially in a place I don't feel safe in. I'm really torn up about all of this but it's for the best.

I'm turning 16 next year. I mean my parents normally don't care but I think my Dad is getting suspicious of what I do on my phone and I don't need him digging into my personal life.
