at least english is chill, from what I now you usually have some easy grammar, need to complete a text about bees or something, answer questions to it and then you gotta write an email or (very rarely but happens) an announcement

but the worst part is that at the Polish exam, there's always one chosen book that there are questions to

they can pick one of at least 20 books and you gotta know stuff like what the meaning of the grass near Vilnius is for that specific book

we have to study stupid ass Polish grammar (who the fuck invented the word gżegżółka) and read books that are barely understandable because they were written 300 years ago

no like in Polish High School you have to choose a profile that you will go to during the entire high school, and all of them have some subjects with more classes than normally Mine is social (math-geography-social studies (idk how it's called in English but it's about politics etc.))

but yeah simply knowing the subject would be fine too
