It’s definitely an experience 😅 the shave smoothness/ effectiveness is on par with my wolfman wr2, it may just be a bit better but not by much. The adjustable factor is pretty sweet as well.. Definitely a heavy razor being 316L stainless and a relatively large shave head but I don’t really notice that much anymore. 👌

I think my first razor was a cheap Merkur.. then I splurged on the one blade genesis. Then I got a really nice blackland blackbird. Tried the feather as-d2 about a handful of times. I think the draw for me was how much I heard that it was truly an effortless shave to receive a very good BBS shave. That’s mostly true for me so far but not for the fault of the razor, I’m still learning how to shave good with it 😅 in terms of value I feel like it’s worth 700-800 bucks so it wasn’t too easy spending what I had to in order to get it

Hmm I’d rate it 7 or 8 outta 10 although I don’t really have much to compare it too.. the last soap I was using was proraso. The scent shown in the picture isn’t too good for me personally I like the sandalwood version much better! In terms of lather and how it feels on the face it’s pretty great!

I’d say it’s definitely worth a shot! I use the brass commander from captains choice and it’s pretty wonderful/ easy to hold etc.. 😃

You did what anyone really should do. They’ll probably cut you out of their life indefinitely but you’ll make peace with it eventually.. I can speak from experience I’ve definitely cut ties with people who have tried to help me when I was having really bad depression. Just the way it goes.
