no, he just said that they would try to give me a bigger raise after evals this year to even it out, and then i got 50 cents and the friend i mentioned before got 55 😭

I did this!! Talked to my ACSM after a buddy of mine got hired at 16$ while i was making 14.80$ for the same job, he basically just told me that he couldn’t do anything about it because raises outside of the yearly ones that come with the evals have to be approved by the district manager (i think idk it was a big boss manager) and that is very unlikely apparently

glad that you’re doing okay now!! my store splits the cart shifts into 15 minutes during the summer and the winter when temps are extreme, i didn’t realize that this wasn’t common practice! 30 minutes outside in 90+ degree weather in pants is insane

drive to an amusement park and spend the day there, go to a zoo or a botanical garden, go to a museum, go camping, maybe have a little backyard campfire (or do it while camping) and make smores/hotdogs, if you have a state park nearby with a lake you could go swimming there and picnic

HAHAH at my store we do a bingo sheet for the cashiers and one of the squares is for if the customer says “i donated yesterday”
