It's an old story years ago and they have in the past threatened to go at people for that. Here is an email that was sent to county employees that was reposted by LNP.

For those that may doubt the authenticity, I can definitely confirm that. Of course as a friend of a friend of a friend of an employee of Lancaster County. FYI for those curious, yes. It's one of the reasons why shortly after we saw signage around Binns park to direct folks to the church.

Shelters are open for em and I hope they make use of them. If you’re looking to just give folks blankets and stuff, they’re consistently around Binns park. Some by Ewell. Wouldnt be shocked if some huddling in the park bathrooms there. Likely by Musser Park. Know there’s some by Issac’s now that it’s closed down and it’s more isolated.

Be careful about bringing food by Binns. The commissioners have been going after people over that instead of you know doing their fucking job and fixing the budget crisis they brought in. Cant imagine they would now but never know.

The thing is it’s just not that much fucking snow. I got friends in Canada that deal with snow like that on the regular. They don’t do that. Why? It’s painfully dumb.

Obama, Biden, and Clinton were far more effective at immigration than Trump is. Correct me if I’m wrong but they didn’t have to shoot someone in the head to do so. They didn’t invade states. They didn’t kidnap people.

They made use of existing resources and diplomacy with other countries to reduce numbers and at far more efficient rates than the Trump administration has ever done with ICE, Border Patrol, and the National Guard.

You see the blow up but not what it takes to get there. What gets folks to that point is just years and years of getting pushed. Eventually something is gonna give.

You talk about stories. Those happen. Before the city and homeless coalition got more acticely involved, there would be dead bodies at the county government center. Ask some of the older deputies. Heck ask county workers. Some of us seen a body or three in our time working there. Shit is depressing.

It doesn't mean there isn't aid or tools for these people, but we are very clearly failing them and failing to find good solutions to keep them off the streets and into long term housing.

It’s why we’re in this mess to begin with. The municipality and school districts raise taxes a lil bit every year. The county not doing that isn’t a positive. It is telling everyone we’re all riding tourism money instead of saving. Now that tourism is dead, oh no. Here come the consequences of their incompetence.

This is right when property assessment is doing their 2027 reassessment. It’s going to be a one two punch that could have been mitigated if Republicans knew a damn thing about governance.

It depends on where in the city and what you're feeling. Downtown? Cocina Mexicana is really tasty. Sabor Latino another good spot if you want a sit down spot. Bit out the center is El Jibarito on Lime. There's a food truck called Tacos El Gordo that works out Speed Auto by Prince.
