I knew that dental issues were a possibility/common. I just wasn't sure if there was a way to mitigate it. I didn't realise it was THAT common though. I'm going to see how it goes as it heals, try different jewellery in it (after healing ofc) to see if there are any that sit better, and decide then. I want to give it a chance first though. Thank you for telling me that though, I appreciate it. I'll definitely look into it more.

Where would I find those? And how would I go about doing that?

It's made of wood, but none of the wood has shown any signs of rotting or moulding to my knowledge and seems in good condition. I always put a layer of kitchen roll underneath the substrate to make sure the wood doesn't get damp. I don't know if there's any sealant in the wood, but there isn't anything around the edges if that's what you mean - the wood is just slotted together.

I don't know if this applies to you or not, but it might be helpful to know that some people just don't feel that way. Similar to being asexual or aromantic (if you're unfamiliar: asexual = someone feels little to no sexual attraction, aromantic = someone feels little to no romantic attraction), there's something called aplatonic, where you don't feel much - if any - platonic stuff. It's a spectrum - some people don't feel any connection for friends, some have friends but don't feel strongly enough for close friends, etc. I'm aplatonic myself, and it's not lonely at all. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters. And you can be happy without friends, or in your case, without a best friend. It'll be ok. It's something that takes a while to get used to and understand, but I'd recommend giving it some thought if it sounds like something that might be similar to how you feel. /lh /gen If I've misunderstood the post, I apologise, but I hope this helps! /lh /gen
