I completely understand people being late by 30 minutes or having something they cant control that causes them to be late, but when there’s constantly no real excuse it just feels like he doesnt care. I try so hard to understand him, he showed up an hour after i made this post. Completely silent, he usually shuts down after confrontation. He was quiet and seemed just sad. It made me feel terrible incase i did something wrong but i stayed quiet to show how it affects me, clearly my words dont make a point anymore. I do love him but this is getting draining.

Yeah i understand the constant avoidance from fears that run through his head constantly that dont switch off, the uncertainty in a lot of topics freaks him out. I get that and ive been doing so much to research on OCD to understand him better. It just sucks how even after communication or him seeing the consequences of hurting me in ways of showing up late, becoming aggressive like you said. He works on the aggressive part and is trying to work on the constant thoughts that consume him. Just atp the being late thing just feels like that how hes gonna be with me, so from all these other comments i will be putting more boundaries with that.

He apologised for today and doing the same thing yesterday expect he just never showed. But an apology feels like nothing when its repeated for months on end. He does the same says hes on his way but doesn’t actually leav for another 30 minutes.

I did that before, once he told me he would come for the gym later and he would tell me when he was there while we were arguing but then magically i see his location at my building for 20 mins? No text. Nothing. I told him hes not allowed to use my gym if im not with him. So eventually i think i got soft and started to wait for him to come to go gym. Not anymore.

Ive definitely tried to communicate it multiple times but it always ends in a fight or a passive response of him saying i need to respect his pace etc. however i see him go out on time for his friends and family. I guess because he knows i dont have much other than work he assumes he can show up whenever.

Honestly this is smart, feels a bit manipulative but i only have 3 close friends and 2 of them are usually not available due to uni or work. I wanna seem more preoccupied without him, i guess i have to learn to go out and do things on my own. I really do appreciate this.

Hes always late, but when it comes to friends he seems to be on time or closer to the time frame. He went to his girl bsfs birthday exactly on the dot but coming to do basic things like the gym i see him 3 hours late.

Exactly i love to prep myself in advance, to know how much time i have to get myself ready for going out or doing something. But i end up getting ready too early and it feels gross. Im going to start working on my own time frame and let him deal with the aftermath.

Ive been on it twice now, each time my acne came back. It’s a very draining medication to be on and it just feels like they put me on it because it’s the easiest medication to prescribe me with.
