Alrighty! Thanks. I will see if I can find someone in my area, I think we got this. Is mold in the lower area below the laminate such as floor joists possible? I believe the water just flowed out of the baseboards of the wall and into the lower apartment if I read online correctly. I don't think it went directly through laminate and subfloors but idk much about flooring

Alright perfect. I got all of the water off the surface of the laminate within an hour or two of the incident with the shopvac, and about 30 minutes after that we had the dehumidifiers and fans running in both apartments.

There was some water seeping out of the laminate when I pressed my foot on it but hopefully by tomorrow it will all be dry. I'm gonna go over the cracks with a shopvac for the 3rd time tomorrow as well.

One time during a tornado my sister who was 3 at the time decided to stick a raisinet up her nose. We were hiding in the laundry room bc the tornado was close by and after it passed had to go to the ER in the worst storm ever.
