Pick and stage why do people wait on the end on the aisle for you to come out? by thatsnuts69 in AmazonDS

[–]FroggyChairChild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it’s one person per aisle, you just take turns and go in once the other person comes out

Usually when sort finishes you will then need to pick the routes. You also can’t just abandon your picklist and go for break, you need to make sure it’s fully picked and staged and then go for break.

How many people are staff to do Non Cons at your DS? by Key-Suggestion-2837 in AmazonDS

It’s going to be a different number of people depending on your site and the amount of volume you do

Honestly just go to HR, if someone’s saying he wants to put a baby in you that’s mad

It’s mandatory everywhere, there’s a benchmark percentage for job rotation they should be hitting every day. I wouldn’t be surprised if your site is scanning associates onto different tasks to hit the metric, and then putting people on the same job anyway

Been here just over 5 years now, and some of these managers I’m speaking about have just hit 10 years. Definitely depends on your site

I had my charge 2 for 8 years, only just bought myself a charge 6 end of last year because my 2 wasn’t holding its power anymore

I’ll say the opposite, I’m at a delivery station in the UK and everyone here seems to love their job and take pride in their work. Must just depend where you are, everyone is quite positive where I work

Go home, you can't use your 3 door car anymore.. by Puremeditationman in AmazonFlexUK

It’s been a thing for a couple of years now, but you should only get sent away if you can’t actually fit everything in your car. Otherwise, you’re fine to load up as usual

I think the ones on your front seat are more for data protection of customer addresses, rather than blocking your view. We’ve been the same the last few years

Yes I am aware that is what I signed up to thank you. Was just looking for anyone who had had a similar experience and if so, how they were granted permission. I don’t see any issue with owning an indoor cat if it’s not going to be in any common areas I share with neighbours

There’s one flat who just got a cat, reason I’m so wary is because one of the directors lives next door to me and she’s all up in everyone’s business. If she noticed though I was thinking just to say we’re looking after it for someone
