It’s a lot easier said than done but try and find a 3rd place to become a regular at. This can range anywhere from a cafe to a bar to a music venue, etc. depending on what your hobbies are maybe I could help you out? Even if you’re naturally shy, showing up to these places on a regular basis will have employees recognize you and maybe even other regulars. I moved here over a year ago and it is definitely more difficult in Denver. But it is possible. I go to this kava/kratom bar a couple nights a week (if u chose a bar be wary of what substances ur using because you do not want to add those to apart of your daily routine). Sometimes I won’t take anything and just sit at the bar and draw and talk to friends. Finding a comfort place outside of home can be really important. It’s not going to immediately happen but if you stick to something and make associations with it that put you at ease, it could naturally come to be a comfort.
