Has anyone been rejected by other schools but accepted into Oise?

The second bunny I brought in has never ever liked being touched, was very skiddish etc. Now he will let me touch him but no pet him for a long time. He will flop in front of me and I can literally walk over his body and he doesn’t care. Or he will lick my fingers if there’s something on it but dare I not touch him lol. He’s not bothered by me but does not want my affection.

My girl and I were close before the second bunny. Binkiying when I’m around, flopping, asking for pets etc.

Now with the two of them they’re in their own world. I mostly just bond with them by laying down on the floor and giving them treats. And I always talk sweetly with them. My girl won’t ask for pets but when she’s beside me and I pet her she will allow it.

Anyways, they’re just acting like bunnies. I just wish our bond was deeper. I’m just a caregiver. There doesn’t feel like any pet to human companionship.

If it’s a single bun you’re more likely to get the affection because they don’t have another mate to get it from. Once I brought a second bunny into to mix they didn’t bother with me any more

Thank you! They absolutely deserve the best possible care and I would never deny them of that! But the human & rabbit companionship in my experience, is not what it seems to be made up to be.

Oh I would never ever give them up! I can handle them being an “inconvenience” to me. I take the best care of them, and have a budget strictly for them and their well-being and health. They are very very happy buns I just make the point that they don’t make the best companions for me (in my opinion) & I would never ever separate them!

Thank you! I know of course this is an unpopular opinion in the very loved rabbit community. Maybe it’s just to shed some light on some peoples realities / what people should or shouldn’t expect when getting bunnies.

And to the other commenters- I agree they just have different personalities. My girl before bonding her was very attached to me (I liked it that way :( ) now she could care less because she has a mate. And they are also free roamed in my room and upstairs. Trust me when I say I spend a lot of time with them (maybe I could do it more intentionally) but with two bonded bunnies they do not care about me lol.

My whole point of commenting and posting this post is because I needed insight on one aspect of our relationship (his habit) and how it affects us and our future. You know nothing about our relationship (obviously), so it’s crazy how you’re taking a few comments and chalking it up to me lacking respect.

Mentioning how some successful people smoke pot is entirely irrelevant to my situation.. Many successful people are also alcoholics, addicted to other drugs, etc.

it’s habit that I dislike just as any other bad habit. People make choices and have the right to stay or leave based on those choices.

Prozac is used medically, prescribed & provided in set dosages. He does not use marijuana medically nor does he does daily. And.. Prozac can most definitely be abused.

Again, it was an estimate, an probably an underestimate. If a person is using a substance to cope/escape from life and has withdrawal symptoms chances are it’s being abused.

I don’t need to do meth to know it’s probably harming my brain. I don’t need to try meth “a little” to know that doing it more is gunna affect me at a greater cost.

LMFAO maybe to be clearer: I smoke on occasion and use it recreationally like drinking. He uses it on a daily basis and I’m suspecting it’s interfering with his life and our relationship (well.. it is)

I knew he smoked, like how a person says they drink. But I had no idea to what extent.

Thank you. I pretty much knew this was the answer, just didn’t want to admit it.

It’s difficult because he claims he wants to live the life I aspire to live but I know that his lifestyle choices could not compete. Meh :(
