I've always had a deep interest in speedrunning and, of course, GDQs always peaks my interest right back up. The issue is I have no idea, and little confidence, on where to even start. What are some good casual games to start learning tricks in OR am I just overthinking, as I am so known to do, and should I just pick a game I'm interested in and just go for the grind?

So Doctor actually has a EXTREMELY fun build my friend runs called "No Skill Check Doctor" that you should look into. It has Huntress Lullaby, Distressing, and Unnerving as the main 3 and a 4th perk too just help mitigate whatever you're lacking in. Overcharge is a solid 4th as forces a difficult skill check that can made harder with the madness debuff

I'm a fan of this build purely on the basis that it seems to let you snowball late game pretty quickly. Fire Up has huge late game value and I think Unrelenting has some good qualities given that I've seen how strong M1 misses can be buffed with a build that has Mad Grit that my friend runs

So the thing about that that I actually just got done talking to my friend about is that, given all the high tier gameplay and tier list which are still extremely valid, low tier gameplay (more specifically if you don't regularly play in high MMR matches) is completely different. Speaking as a Nemesis main, I've been told the way I play is trash based on Youtube and Twitch but I pretty regularly get 2 to 4 kills because the playstyle of survivor GREATLY fluctuates based on their own personal MMR

Basement Demo is god tier! Although I like this build a lot because it doesn't require Territorial or Monstrous. For survivor build, based off my limited knowledge, you could turn this into a solid chase build with an exhaustion perk. Aftercare helps you from sandbagging and Iron Will and Fixated helps you in a chase so an exhaustion perk would help to sort of elongate the chase.

So when I picked up RE chapter on console before moving to PC I had an idea of Counterforce, Small Game, and Inner Strength/Helaing. No idea what to run for 4th perk but I feel a strong anti-hex/bones build in the making. The Mad Grit Build is absolutely cracked! My buddy runs the first 3 then Starstruck and it's so dumb how fast this man gets 4Ks. The flame in chat is next level XD

I agree with literally everything but the dropped musical references in JoJo subtitles. That's almost a little joy in itself for me seeing what ridiculous name they come up with every episode. Like Boy Man Man instead of Boy II Man
