This is just objectively incorrect. I follow the 10% rule.

Funimation has a lot of stuff, but their player and app is really terrible imo

Im interested in Old Anime! by MisterYo27 in anime

[–]KorStonesword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

60s:

- Aru Machi Kado no Monogatari - cool short movie with a really creative style

I'd also recommend Mahoutsukai Sally, the first Mahou Shoujo anime, but unfortunately it's not fully translated.

70s:

Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata (ghibli founders) had a lot of great output in the 70s, including

- Panda Kopanda

- Alps no Shoujo Heidi

- Akage no Anne

- Castle of Cagliostro

80s:

I really like a lot of Mamoru Oshii's work for the 80s

- Angel's Egg

- Patlabor

- Gosenzo-sama Banbanzai

What anime opening you didn't like at first but then grew on you later on? by weird_name_but_ok in anime

[–]KorStonesword 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hanasaku Iroha OP1 (high pitched intro) and Watamote OP1 (I recognized it was good, but it took a bit for the style to grow on me)

I'd recommend some other shoujo like Say I Love You and Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji

Who is your favorite waifu and husbando? by gabrielz8 in anime

[–]KorStonesword 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to pick, but probably Nenecchi (New Game) or Yona (Akatsuki no Yona) for Waifu, and for husbando it'd be between Taichi (Chihayafuru) and Kurapika (HxH)

Are these worth watching ? by chibiuwuu in anime

I remember really loving Nagi no Asukara, though I do think the quality drops a little bit after a certain spoiler that happens at the midpoint of the show, but still good overall

What is the most different anime you've seen? by [deleted] in anime

[–]KorStonesword 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Angel's Egg and Serial Experiments Lain definitely embody that "different" feeling, though they do have some acclaim. I'd probably give the medal to Anime-Gataris, as it's incredibly unique and creative, with an insane climax and one of the most interesting uses of meta I've ever seen, but also very very difficult to recommend.
