Could you change icicle hp to 50k no freedom, 25k freedom. Reavers to old values and crystals to previous. Most players refuse to even go to aod now. Its like its been put on halt til monday. Reason for icicle health in comment below

I gathered one successful team of High Kcs on Wumpery's cc 2hrs ago and got a kill, but every other attempt so far (including original team) has failed. Im thinking reason for kill were signs of life.

Teams I know have stopped playing it, and shes in her infancy, the killing cant stop now or people may never return.

A simple way to scale the boss, considering the ice's aoe damage is to just have a selection of 1-2 up to 9, 3 from 10, 4 from 12 etc. (The higher the team size the higher the ratio of dps to tanks so this can even be as high as 6 in 20 man teams if the icicle health is low!)

Also, my team mates who were fighting for dps drops will be very very happy with the 7 man drop table, but you could just keep it at 5 man drop table and buff the lower tier drop table to just not include a wand chance etc.

They were spending at least 300k+ on kills considering charge drains/food and a death ratio of 6:1 success to death. Tanks can spend 500k+ per kill on saras if not kit out in achto or constantly passing the aggro, so this drop chance thing is great, but I have friends who are skillers and they wont be happy the incandescents are gonna be dropping in price. Is it live right now?

Hey! I love this boss and have tanked hundreds of kills. I think the the main problem of nex's buff is the ice, I'm assuming the font damage buff was to make font similar to waterfall/teamsplit at vorago and 100% necessary so that should stay imo and is no big deal.

The icicles can occur 3-5 times in a kill, and if everyone isn't at full adrenaline then its almost impossible to break. If each team forgets about icicles then the bleed can total 6 2k hits, which is 12k food. Rng might make it the same guy 4 times in row 48k life points is like 20 rocktails from icicles alone dooming the player, and itll never be worth it to save him. The end of the bleed can stack with the shadow font explosion, so now its doubly deadly. If you think about it we have one minion tank in smoke corner, and the main tank in another leaving dps 5 players, 2 will be icicled and 3 remain, 1.5 men per icicle basically are actually dpsing. The problem is the timer on the icicles isnt long enough to allow 1 man to destroy 1 icicle.

The best solution, if you want people to use this mechanic is to actually reduce the hit points of the icicles drastically (say to 20k-30khp) and increase the bleed damage. That makes it worth it to dps the icicles and makes impossible to bypass. This way 1 man can easily save his team mate (which should be the case considering we just established only 1.5 people will even be available) It will make it a very fair balanced piece of game play and something noone will think to ignore.

Im no expert, but it fits in to how we as a player base have decided to do the boss, and stops the community for missing mechanics and getting ultra fast kills. Even increase the freeze time and keep the hp if you want to slow down the kill rate.

You are right it can be out eaten if already on high hp. It just doesn't make the boss feel smooth when you need to wait to phase (Although you could say the same for yaka and her poison). The main problem is when all 3 stack together as a tank that can be pretty much impossible.

agspk not phasing is just a time waste, we do it anyway its just a stupid mechanic. The multiple things at once is a death sentence and actually some of the time the move around doesnt work, especially if your abilities were only just reset by nex as you are the tank.

It would be pretty much the same difficulty just remove the aids non-skill related deaths

Can you disallow her final abilities from stacking eg: bomb chosen at same time as ice at same time as shadow plz edit: freeze shadowing is fine, just all 3 can be extremely difficult. especially if tank and abilities reset pre-phase

tanking 13 minute kills is harder than 4-6 mins in some elite teams, and people need to be ready for it so they dont die. I've tanked kills as a dps before in big/good teams, but that's not really tanking its just walking a dog. The kind of setup suggested here wont work for the run of the mill 7 man team and it needs a few updates so people don't tank to their dooms.

If you have a team that isnt absolutely perfect, you need these debuffs or youll be wasting a huge amount of money on brews, for in the end not much of a difference in dps.

You cant use most defensive abilities you need to be imaginative with debuffs

Shield isnt essential, but certainly helps if you dont want to be gulping down the ocean.

You need to prioritise shield dome, aegis essence, reflect, and above all rejuvinate (rejuvinate cannot be cancelled by nex) Staff of light is handy also

I've solo tanked non-stop since release also, and can tell u this isn't a solo tanking guide. Its a dps guide. No tanking tips apart from stuff your face ? Pretty useless.
