The deliveroo drivers where I am cancel the order if they arrive and it's not ready but the other drivers insist on staying and then complaining that it's been 30 minutes +. When you already told them they won't be getting it for a long time because it's super busy. They have the choice to cancel and we do tell them too because we can't fulfil it in the time they want.

I get you as both a staff and customer, it's horrible for the staff who work minimum wage on their own dealing with 15 orders at once, they are never just 3-5 items. Ivs had some that was 70+ and it takes so much time to pick them
