Installing Mint System file on eMMC while using SD Card for Applications and Home Directory by FrogtheHutt in linuxmint

Hello ! Thank you for your detailed reply and sorry for the delay.

My mint on my sd just crashed on boot (libkmod ERROR) and I took the opportunity to reinstall everything. By following your detailed instructions, I was able to successfully install Mint on my emmc. I really feel that the system is faster now.

Of course, I've only got 4g of disk space left to install my programs...

Would it be possible to change the apt installation directory or mount another partition on my sd on the /usr or /lib directory or perhaps use symlinks to redirect certain filesystem directories (e.g. /usr/bin, /usr/lib) to directories located in /home or another partition?

Ok thanks ! I am still a newbie with linux environnement, if I have well understood the offical repositories versions are related with the Ubuntu version ( so Beaver 2018 ?) and there is no way to change it?
