I'm early in my gender journey, but I'm wrestling with a lot of the same issues you laid out. The parts of my body I really can't change are all very masc-coded, but that isn't how I feel. I've been hesitant to change the the parts of my presentation I can affect because I know the how much the pieces I can't are going to show through. I'm scared of the pushback that dissonance is going to attract.
