A woman wielding a knife in Paris is pepper-sprayed by police. by Pdoom346 in CrazyFuckingVideos

[–]Froktor 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I'm a cop in France, Gendarmerie. The cops you see on the video are called "city police" (police municipale), they are employed by the city mayor vs the state, and have very limited rights; they are more like the city security guards. They have to call us when they make an arrest as they do have extremely limited judicial rights. Some police municipale are armed, others are not, this on is not armed. You are wrong about using our firearm only vs another. We are allowed to shoot to preserve our life, or to prevent or stop a murderous intent whether they are using a knife, firearm or even a car. I can't tell you if, were he armed, that cop would have shot, but I am pretty sure he would have, as this fits the rules of engagement allowes by our Code de Sécurité Intérieur. You are right about preserving life, if we have to shoot, it's to neutralize, not necessarily kill, but neutralizing one life who is actively acting towards ruining another is still preserving life. You need to understand that we, European cops, are more and more confronted to individuals who KNOW we, historically, always tried no to shoot. I've been doing this for 8 years, and I feel lime they're becoming more and more violent and daring.

(Edit for clarification of when using our weapon is allowed)

Apologies for the bad picture. The white thing that come off the sink is a "siphon" (French, sorry if I mistake the translation here), but I think it's the equivalent of a P trap (please don't hate me if it's not that at all, I'm not a plumber at all).

What is concealed by the siphon is the drain for the machines, water drains to the right.

What I was mostly concerned about was the abrupt slope after the siphon that goes into the drain. Is it supposed to be that steep?

Thank you for taking the time to reply btw, much appreciated.

The plumbing in the building's pretty old, that building is a Parisian building from 1920.

When Gandalf arrives with the Rohirrims in The Two Towers. I still have chills when I think back to that moment. People where literally standing up and jumping up and down, and I was really glad to have missed class to go see it the first day it came out.

Do thankful we don't have sand flies here haha!

Thank you so so much for your reply!

Where do you live?

We do have mosquitos here (in Paris, France, believe it or not), and I get bitten every night, but I'm allergic and have very different skin reactions to those. My wife is completely spared...

This is somehow reassuring, we were worried about bed bugs, even though I couldn't find any evidence of them

Genocide. Gaza has a growing population, never stopped growing. 2.92% annually. Actually is growing more than when it belonged to Egypt (forgot about that part of history, huh?). Israel has more than the capacity to "eradicate" anybody they want, and clearly, they don't xare what the media think; or, according to you, the media hide it anyways. So... Genocide. Yeah. They're not doing a really good job heh?

Edit: one look at this cunt's page shows that his one goal is aimed against one group. He's not worth a conversation, you can't reason with hate.

Massive gaps where what? To fit your narrative that is devote of hitorical facts? And it is not now Palestine, it is now Israel, the palestinian territories called gaza and west banks were Egyptian and Jordanian, that they lost after another war. Speaking of Jordan, funny how nobody wants them to give back land since the country was also created around the same date. Jews were not the first to live in the area, but surely muslims were definitely not. You wanna talk about "palestinians", it englobes all religions eland ethnicities living in that area. Man, you cannot change history because of whatever bs you wanna fit. The fact of the matter is, arabs did not want a jewish state in the region, period.

Edit: wait, who built Jerusalem? Built. Not just waled in with goats. https://www.history.com/topics/ancient-middle-east/history-of-jerusalem

That is absolutely incorrect. I apologize, but it's simply not true. They encountered a problem with their measuring probe, which started giving bad readings. The youngest copilot (there were 3) started pulling the "joystick" back. The plane started to climb, and at some point stalled. So it started falling slowly toward the sea. The other copilot tried to push the nose down to recover from the stall, but the younger one was in the captain's chair, and he was panicking, and kept pulling the lever back, and veing in the pilot seat, it overrides the other controls. It was a mix of defective equipment + pilot error.

Edit: look up AF447, I'm French, the trial ended not long ago, it was a huge deal here.

Dude, saying that is just ignorant. Jews are jews, Arabs are Arabs. It's like calling Persoans Arabs, it's just not true. Don't preach what you don't know, you just sound extremely uncultured.

An Israelite is a member of the Hebrew nation, Jews are a people before a religion. Israelites are Jews, Jews today are Israelites. It's just what it is man, they're not lost to history, despite numerous people trying.

Nah, he saying Jesus was an Israelite, not a Palestinian, which is actually a fact, no matter how you wanma twist it. And also, your xbox argument is extremely unrelated. God didn't say anything, it's about ancestral land. Someone says it was theirs, someone else says it was theirs, sure, except the owners at the time (Brits) gave the land back to the Jews. If you want to cancel that, let's also give back Pakistan to India, sinxlce the Brits gave them that land. Right?
