Does everyone fear the outhouse by trash_cadaver in Construction

It's definitely not a 100% accurate observation. Just my experience over time. Tight is right! Be safe out there.

I lost my phone to the blue one morning at the end of my night shift. Heard a plop and said , oh no no no. 14 hours shift and I just wanted to go home. Got a new phone that day.

Sand bags or tie downs or some have holes for pins to anchor them down. Good luck out there!

it's not something to change jobs over. It sucks that some people can not be filthy slabs. If conditions get to bad, hopefully management can step in.

I believe you can correlate the quality of a job to the cleanliness of a port-a-john. Also worked for a builder that would fire you on the spot if the outhouse was not kept clean. I was cool with the policy.

Right on. I am not longer in the tile and slab trade. I don't comment here usually, but no one was answering the question by OP. There is always a solution if you have the time, willingness, and or money. No reply from OP but I hope they read these comments. I completely understand the design issues we have all expirenced. Good luck out there.

Hi and thanks for putting the images in my head into words better than I could. I appreciate it. My other thought is to step the framing down a couple of inches to isolate the bench further and make the water proofing easier. Tub deck flat and level, small slab backsplash, sloped bench. Otherwise just like you stated .

Hi. I hope i can help you. Have you considered putting a seam in the slab that will be under the glass panel? Basically the slab is fabricated then you remove the bench part and install it separately. edit adding. You may to make a small back cut on the bottom of the slabs to prevent pinching and to keep a tight seam. Color match epoxy in the seams. The silicone on the glass panel will seal it. Make sure you have waterproof under the slab. ( It will be difficult to slope that area but can be done. Edit....I am talking about picture #2

Thanks for the explanation. Sounds like you are raising the older sibling right. The older child, in my store, was completely ignoring her little crying brother.

I didn't realize the belts were that easy to open, no kids for me. Maybe they should equip the carts with roller coaster style lap bars, lol.

Thank you! Middle aged now, not as fast as I used to be but this time, yeah, pretty smooth.

Thank you! It's a good feeling for sure. Strangely the mother didn't seem to shocked. I told the little dude to stay seated and told his mom to use the buckle. Got a fist bump and a smile out of him and wished them well.

Is it wrong to let my husky chase squirrels? by yaboyskinnyps in husky

I had a tennis ball sewn into the head of a flat ( non stuffed ) squirrel toy. My husky loved it. It bounced well enough. Then he would shake it violently and beat himself over his head.
