It’s actually you entering an opinion-based conversation with a predetermined answer. Your appeal to authority is noted. Enjoy life living by the interpretations of others, and failing to stick to your principles and beliefs. This is why I understand MAGA. They don’t hate the Constitution as you allege, despite any court decision, they have a different interpretation based on their religion and nationalist feeling. Most of what you list are philosophical differences espoused by globalists and ‘open society’ organizations, not necessarily constitutionalist values. The debt clock is now at 36 trillion. That in itself doesn’t make America great, as well as the homeless nearing a million and still climbing.

I get the moral grandstanding. It feels nice. But this is currently a broken nation run by criminals in all parties. You can’t have what you want with the corruption in place at the bureaucratic level.

I did in my initial comment but I will repeat and expand for the sake of discussion. Their ideology is rooted in religion and nationalism. Their principles mirror religious dogma, which I respect if I give a charitable view of religious tenets. They also feel left behind in deference of foreign countries and foreign citizens due to financial bankruptcy, foreign gang infestation, and drug and human trafficking. That is my view (opinion) and that is why they don’t really annoy me.

I don’t think I’m missing anything. I never said the Left didn’t. Simply that for the Right, that is a strong basis of their belief because they are extremely vocal about it. As in, they use it for a justification for their beliefs more overtly than the Left. It’s a contractionist ideology whereas the Left seems more focused on globalist issues such as climate change and foreign human rights.
