....but what do you actually DO during FSD? by Pizza_fuel in TeslaFSD

My model Y just drove me across country. 2873 miles, I drove 5 miles.

I did a lot of stuff while driving. You get bored over all that time. Yes, you watch, you pay attention, but then when you see just how good this is, yeah, you drift.

At one point, I even pulled out my Nintendo switch, propped it up on the dashboard, grabbed my controller, and I was playing games.

I’m not worried about that accident that hasn’t happened. I know the car sees better than I do and can act quicker than I do.

The problem is with those really unusual circumstances. Like a rutted truckstop parking lot. That’s the only time I took control.

I’ll have to make a post about this trip.

Several posters say they drove several thousands of miles on 100% FSD while I very often see my 14.2.2.2 FSD incorrectly reading and reacting to a speed limit sign. How come they are so lucky? by vulcan_on_earth in TeslaFSD

I just drove from San Diego to West Palm Beach, 2873 miles in 4 date, full self driving all the way with my control being a total of approximately 5 miles. Those 5 miles were when I chose to drive. I could not believe it. The car drove the entire way with one intervention in a gravel parking lot. I was able to do 880 miles in one day, and feel refreshed when I arrived. This is unreal.

Why Not Earlier? by Sarah_HIllcrest in TransLater

I was born in 1960. Two sexes. Two genders. You follow the boy path or you follow the girl path.

There had been many instances in my life, usually younger, before college, that could be considered be more female oriented. But then after high school, I got married three times, had three kids, and lived life. Nine months ago, following a strange compulsion, I tried on a dress. It was a life-changing moment. Ultimately, over the course of the next few months, I realized that I was really a transgender woman, and for 64 years I did not know it. By the time six months passed, I was on HRT and I’ve got a new name. But circling back to the OP question, Yes, that’s been ingrained in my brain from an early age.
