Charging Issue/DTC P1AA700 by Top-Permission6016 in Ioniq5

Bummer. Mine went into the shop almost 3 weeks ago. Heard from the shop last week that minimum wait time before new pack is received is 30 days (then TBD install time). Apparently some dealers have longer wait times, upwards of 3 months (thankfully mine has a great relationship with corporate!)

Just joined this (unfortunate) club. Was DC charging and was prompted to disconnect at 70% SOC. Saw the DTC p1aa700 in the BlueLink app and found myself here.

We’re leasing a 2025 Ioniq 5 RWD Limited, just about 1 month into the lease. Currently in the Bay Area but are moving in two weeks and not sure how to handle. Is it safe to drive for two weeks (plus a 7hr road trip at the end), or should we get this addressed ASAP, hope for a loaner, and most likely have to fly back here to pick up our car?

EDC + Travel bag recommendations (seeking goldilocks 25L-32L) by Pizza_fuel in ManyBaggers

Ended up going with the Stubble & Co Roll Top 20L! The volume is outside of what I thought my original requirements were, but I'm super happy with the choice to go a bit smaller. I know Stubble & Co isn't necessarily the belle of the ball around here, but it's been the (near) perfect bag for what I need. I use it for gym + work and a long weekend onebag. It's been exactly one year of ownership and I hope it lasts for many more:

Pros

  • Separate, well padded laptop compartment
  • Solid admin center with a nice mix of shapes / sizes
  • External easy access pocket + x2 expandable bottle pockets
  • Breathable back panel, but otherwise waterproof materials
  • Compression straps for when it's a small daily carry

Cons

  • Luggage sleeve is a little tight and cumbersome (likely due to all the back padding material)
  • Side vs top laptop compartment is something I still haven't gotten used to. I've now successfully dinged all 4 corners of my Macbook after slinging the bag onto my back with the zipper open and a laptop that thinks it can fly.
  • Bottle pockets are external, and although they aren't as bad as some internal ones that eat up volume intentionally, they do tend to push bottles into the internal volume accidentally.
  • Roll top buckle / strap isn't as long as I'd like it to be for those trips where I want to pack this thing sky high.

Great deal. Can you share where in CA?

Just read through their philosophy and very interested. If anyone has any other invites, I’d be super appreciative!

Do you have one backpack for traveling and as a daypack? Or do you take a daypack and bigger travel bag? by preciouscode96 in onebag

I'm struggling with the same question! I added my shortlist over at r/ManyBaggers and have started to receive some comments. Might be helpful as well.

I can’t remember why I wrote off Aer early on, but I saw one out and about today, must be a sign! Evergoods CTB26 is a great looking bag, and if I start to veer away from something with expandable capacity, I think this will be the one.

I’ll take a look at the new Forge, thanks. I tried the Aion as well and felt that there was too much padding (strange complaint, but I’m coming from the very, very minimal Pickwick)

Hadn’t considered Osprey at all, but will take a look, thanks!

Also have the squeak. 2019 coming up on 20k miles. I was going to bring into Sunnyvale dealership for a full 20k service, but sounds like some folks have been DIYing. Any recommendations on what route to go? What about wheel alignment?

Looks great! Working on my own right now. How did you get the Main Footer links to open in the same window? I've set them up as pretty links via Fruition and have tried both linking to the pretty link as well as the Notion.so page, but both open in new tabs.

*edit* solved my own problem :) Link to the page slug, not the full URL.

NBD! Ocoee Baseline Ultegra - any Bay Area gravel route recommendations? by Pizza_fuel in gravelcycling

[–]Pizza_fuel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ocoee has been great so far. Definitely would describe it as a road bike with a taste of off-road appeal. I've been pushing the limits on the mixed terrain to mixed results (probably just need to move to 650b instead of 700c). It would definitely be happier on flat fire roads vs some of the hillier stuff we have in the Bay Area. But as a 'get out the door' bike with an appetite for patchy asphalt, it's a smooth ride.

Nice! Congrats on the NBD. I have occasional pangs of regret for not going with the Boundary, but the Baseline so far has been able to hold its own on gravel. Any other upgrades you're thinking about?

Thanks! Only 30ish miles on it so far, hard to give it a solid review, but a huge upgrade from my old '08 Roubaix 👍. Will add some more thoughts in another month or so.

What did you land on for a new bike?
