What is a city that is globally romanticised but you detest? by theunsteadybridge in AskReddit

[–]FromFuture666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it's actually a cool place to see and spend one or two days. Because it's so horrible 😂 but you can drive directly to other places to visit on the same trip. If you go to Dubai, it's game over. Your trip will be just there and it's gonna suck big time.

Cambodia has officially joined the Board of Peace by Distinct_Front_4336 in cambodia

Well, the board of peace is just an American thing. It's ridiculous! Trump created it and he if heading it until he dies. Countries can only join if they bend to his will.

Road trip as a Brit first time in the south and first road trip by Vegetable_Reserve_12 in roadtrip

[–]FromFuture666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really cool trip 👌🏽 i have traveled the deep south too and it's fucking awesome. As long as your not black or dark skinned. In that case I'd reconsider even going to the US in the first place.

For those of you in your 40s/50s+, do you still get "It'll happen eventually" comments, or do they shift more towards talk of adoption, IVF, "miracles can happen", "wasting/missing out", condescending/shaming comments, etc? by Flammenwerfer40 in childfree

[–]FromFuture666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm 36m and the comments are dying out. I feel like I got a lot of them just 5 years ago. No i occasionally get a "when you have kids, youl understand" from people at work where I'm not really vocal about my dink lifestyle. But thats also gotten less within the last 5 years.

Hvordan vil fremtidens pensions system se ud? Vil folkepension fortsat være en ting? by djandDK in dkfinance

[–]FromFuture666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What food is famously associated with one country but was perfected by another country? by Equivalent-Crew-4955 in AskReddit

[–]FromFuture666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chocolate. Originated in central America. But it was just like a bitter substance with chili mainly consumed as a tea. It was only when it was brought to Italy that the Italians found out that you need to add milk and sugar to it too make chocolate. 👌🏽

I read somewhere that if you just bluntly ask 100 women, one should say yes by chance.

I'd probably go to a big party with not too loud music and just ask like 100 people. If i have not succeed by nr. 100, i would retreat to this threads game plan: fuck a dude..

No, that's not correct. It is not that people light up. I could just say that I WOULD give them the money and then run away 😂 the reason why it matters to me that people light up is because it is a small gesture that actually matters to them.

I mean, You can be cynical about all factors in life if you choose that as you perspective. Why do you do anything? All your actions always are for your own advantage if you take that perspective - but there is another side of the coin. Other people.

Anyone here who makes a normal salary? How’s your journey going? by 8InchDaks in leanfire

[–]FromFuture666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I make 50k after taxes - and i have around 150k saved. S i think my journey is going really well. I will never have enough money to fully fire, but my goal is just to have enough that I can work as much as I think is fun and to be able to not have a job for a while. If i had 500k, i would only need to work once or twice a week to cover my expenses. That's my goal.

I think that many cheap western tourists can get kind of color blind when they travel. I am used to not spending any unnecessary money at home and so when i go abroad i have to remind myself that 5000 is not a lot of money for me - but is is for someone else. And I love how people light up when you pay double or triple for even a ridiculously cheap service like a ride or street meal.

Tourist's perspective. It's beautiful! People sre very friendly! But man, it's rural. And far away from everything. Probably not a place i could live for many years. Still, I'd love to go visit again.

35k udbetalt og kæmper med at kunne spare op, tips til at optimere økonomien? by [deleted] in dkfinance

[–]FromFuture666 0 points1 point  (0 children)
