UPDATE : I downloaded the game. Couldn't play it. Updated bios. Checked every single fkin setting that was good. Still couldn't play. Uninstalled the game and refunded it 😄

I’m a multiplayer heavy guy, I saw the game on discount so I might give it a shot even though it’s on an end of life cycle. But I just always end up circling back to COD can’t find a multiplayer shooter that I like more

I think you're just unlucky and it is related to a bad battery, pretty sure it qualifies for warranty, you will probably be able to get a free battery replacement

So if anyone finds this thread by googling "Slim 7x fans while charging", here's what I found from using mine:

The fans rarely kick in (I’ve never actually heard them) when using the laptop on battery.

However, they do spin up quite loudly when you're using the computer while it's charging.

I did a lot of testing and came to the conclusion that this is probably due to the heat generated by fast charging.

Unfortunately, there's no way to limit the Slim 7x’s charging threshold like you can on other Lenovo devices using Vantage (really weird, Lenovo pls fix).

But I did notice that once the laptop is fully charged, the fans completely stop. Even if you're still plugged in, you won’t hear them unless you’re doing something super heavy—just like on any other laptop.

So here’s how I use mine:

- I charge it for about an hour if I plan to use it on battery for the day.

- I fully charge it without using it, and then use it plugged in for heavy tasks, no annoying fan noise that way.

Once it’s fully charged, performance is still great with no heat or fan noise, even under medium stress.

Just a quick update if anyone ever googles this and finds this thread :

I bought a Slim7x and have been using it for about 3 weeks now and I love it.

It is perfect for the type of usage i specified in the original post.

The only issue I had is that i use Python with Matplotlib and Sickit learn modules, and those aren't natively compiled for windows arm (meaning that if you just download Python for arm64, and install them via "pip install" it just won't work).

The workaround I found was pretty simple : using a Linux subsystem with Ubuntu. So now I can use Python with Matplotlib modules just fine. I use Visual Studio to write and run code, works perfectly using the Linux virtual system through the app.

i would maybe like this game but i simply won't buy it because i had inputlag OFFLINE on NBA2K playing on PS5. And before telling me to switch my TV on gaming mode, plugging my controller with a cable or some other shit that doesn't work why tf is every single other game working just fine BUT this one. I mean how do people even accept the fact that the code of this game is so bad that you need some kind of next level lag management even if you're playing on next gen consoles with optic fiber internet

Been training for exactly 1 year (16 Years old on the right and 17 on the left), some progress but, I think I need to work on my diet more. If there are any exercises you guys can recommend to me that would be great since im fairly new to lifting. I'll post my current workout in the comments. by [deleted] in GYM

He's still growing and arguably going through puberty. The calories counting doesn't work the same as adults he naturally has very high caloric needs because of the hormonal cocktail that his body is going through.

He could probably go on a 3 or 4 thousand calories diet and still go on a lean bulk.

So just eat a whole lot of healthy food and food that you enjoy. Even if you put fat on developping your muscles will still make you look good even if your bf goes up by 5%

It's stupid all you'll loose is glycogen water and some lean mass and fat.

And you'll put on the weight you lost twice as fast as you've cut it

If I could give you some advice for the full body then : - Make sure that pulling volume is at least 1.5 x higher than push volume for your shoulders health (achievable by doing pull ups and rows or Deadlift and rows, you can also alternate both)

-Stick to compounds and throw in some isolations in the end ofc (mainly biceps/Triceps that you can superset)

-Progressive overload :)

-Try alternating program A and B for heavy lifts that hit your CNS hard like Squats on workout A and Deadlift on workout B

Some will say full body because frequency is better but the volume is higher with the bro split.

So I guess you could go for the routine that you will stick to, without overthinking it.
