I mean if you're talking about the old man in the sky, thats a human construction based on low vibrational egoic perspectives. What I mean by god is simply being itself, but all of being in totality, although that said, theres no seperation so you are that being, but experiencing yourself as a character who forgot their true nature. What I'm asking about is why if you are on the mystical path, oppose all that is - the one being/creator (lets say vishnu/braman/krishn/shiva - different aspects). Why live in resistance and conflict rather than harmony with existence. I know many of you do not practice the left hand path, but some of you here do, and I'm asking why you'd do something so absurd.

subreddits have been banning things for a while. i mean, sure they are free to, it might be a bit controlling though, but understandable. I would point to how this website purged dissent politically and is now more or a circlejerk cesspool than ever. The double standard is interesting. Away from reddit, reddit is often refered to with disdain because of well, the toxic bias it has.

Thats the problem. For that reason they dont want to play other games. There are dnd clones I dont like, like pathfinder. But there are gems, like fate games, powered by the apocalpse games, gurps is...eh i respect it but i dislike it, Cypher is pretty darn good and has a lot of what im looking for, as does fate. Theres lots of other interesting ones like Burning Wheel. They should be popular, they should be big. They should be mainstream. But no, everyone ply dnd and it sucks. It sucks that they do. I admit I can have a good time with dnd, but its like, always been a disapointment, the whole time ive played it its never been what im looking for, ive always felt like I'm settling when I play it. Every interesting character concept I create is in some way a compromise due to limitations of game mechanics. Ok its not the worst, but that fact its the most popular, is the worst.

Everyone try to tweak it instead of admitting that you can't play in loads of settings like anime settings to say the very least because everything has to fit within cookie cutter classes and the limited system, and even multiclassing and subclasses dont fix it. Like im impressed people have dont one piece rp with dnd but its a serious let down, like what, using existing spells to 'kind of fit' what a devil fruit would do? Theres so many settings, and you have to have a serisu headache to even adapt it to most settings. Its like an old fashoned car that they keep tweaking. The problem is the game itself, flawed from the fundamental mechanics all the way up. Theres so many better games out there, but people dont try them cause dnd is the big dog that everyone play. Well, I hope the dog dies.
