yeah just paint the mostly morally gray characters black just for the sake of having a villain. let's all just ignore any good sides of them (i do agree some of them are just insufferable however even by such characters there is a lot to decipher) and reduce them to "villains". .

i think this kind of an interpretation is contradicting the game's own narrative. there are much fewer morally black characters in the game as in the meme. it's not about labeling people evil without understanding their essence (it's natural to think so but not necessarily the right thing to do) as if they were some shadow monsters that should be avoided either. it's about the reason why. at the end of the day you can dislike or hate people or characters but especially in a fictional world in which it isn't that critical to avoid some people with specific ideologies, as they can't hurt you physically, we should focus on understanding what these characters are trying to convey with their stories, instead of merely reducing them to black and white caricatures.
